Tamara Hughes received her massage license from the Oregon Board of Massage and her National Certification through NCBTMB in 2011. She completed her training through the Lane Community College Massage Program and is a current member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).
During her training Tamara volunteered her massage services at a local wellness clinic, Willamette Valley Cancer Center, Womenspace and the Jewels of the Vine charity event at Sweet Cheeks Winery.
Previously Tamara also volunteered at the local nonprofit WellMama, offering complimentary chair massage for prenatal and postpartum mothers.
Tamara practices fusion massage with elements of Swedish, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Thai and Lomilomi modalities. Each massage is unique and catered toward the client's individual preferences and comfort. She strives to create a professional, caring, and approachable massage experience for her clients.
Tamara has pursued continuing education in prenatal massage, Trigger Point, sports massage, lymphatic drainage and other continuing education classes. She has interest in obtaining additional training in modalities such as craniosacral, myofascial as well as Lomilomi.
Currently Tamara is practicing in a professional office in downtown Eugene.
